The calculator uses a simple formula that takes into account your body weight and lifestyle factors.
On average, you should drink 35–40 ml of water per kilogram of body weight — but this value changes depending on temperature and physical activity.
Formula:
Daily Water Intake (liters) = Weight (kg) × Water factor (ml/kg) ÷ 1000
Water factor examples:
Sedentary: 30 ml/kg
Moderate activity: 35 ml/kg
Active lifestyle or hot climate: 40 ml/kg
Example:
If you weigh 70 kg and have moderate activity:
→ 70 × 35 = 2450 ml ≈ 2.45 liters per day
Keep a reusable bottle nearby throughout the day.
Drink before you feel thirsty.
Eat fruits and vegetables rich in water (like watermelon, cucumber, and oranges).
Increase your intake when exercising or in hot weather.
